Service Delivery Update

We have had to make the difficult decision to close our appointments to all new clients, so that we can focus on helping our existing clients and those who have already made appointments or committed to working with us. 

We understand that some clients are willing to wait for us, so we have started a waiting list.

Below is our waiting list procedure, based on our trusted Advice Process:

Effective as of August 2025:

We are currently booking appointments for existing wait list clients, starting from September through to early November. For new clients enquiring from 1 August, the estimated wait time for an initial Goals Meeting (Step 1) is approximately 5–7 months.

If you are comfortable to wait for an appointment, please let us know that you wish to be put on the waiting list, and what your advice needs are by clicking the WAIT LIST button below. There might be cancellations, so we will be in touch sooner if we can.

When spots become available, we will be in touch to organise your first meeting (which will be booked within 1 month) and we will begin by contacting the top person on the waiting list, and so on until our meetings are filled again.

Strong communication is important to us at Steps, so we will ensure you are updated about the timeline.

What can you expect once you have a Goals Meeting booked?

During the initial appointment, we are upfront about our advice process, cost and timeline for providing the advice. After this meeting, we provide you with a Terms of Engagement, outlining our fixed dollar fee for a financial plan. This is usually between $6,000 - $9,000 +GST depending on what your goals are and the complexity of our advice.

Once you agree to proceed, Research Phase usually takes between 1 and 4 months (Step 2 and 3), then the Advice Phase can begin (Step 4) and lastly, Implementation (Step 5).

If you want advice sooner, we have developed a strong network of advisers, who are ready to meet. These are all self-employed advisers and business owners, who are highly skilled and part of our network, and we have already received positive feedback from other clients after meeting with them. We do not accept or pay referral fees, so do not get anything by referring you to them.
